A Picture-Perfect Day | Columbus, Indiana Family Photographer | Mill Race Park

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a lovely family at Mill Race Park in Columbus, Indiana. It seems that I have been doing alot of sessions at Mill Race this season, lol. It’s such a beautiful park. I like it alot because the fact that it’s so big gives me so much variety to capture different looks based on the people I photograph. Case in point, the Mocas family.

The Mocas boys needed alot of space to run so this park was a great place to let them run to settle down. Mom was so excited to have pictures taken. She told me it had been so long since their last session.

These are the moments that make family photography so incredible - it's not just about the poses and smiles, but the raw, unfiltered connections that make a family truly unique.

After getting alot of family photos, I took a moment to steal Mom and Dad away for some intimate photos, giving them a chance to enjoy a moment just for themselves. I had thought the boys were boy playing next to me but when I turned I noticed their oldest had stopped playing and was watching. He had the biggest smile on his face.
