Sharing a short but fun story about Kesha and Evelyn's mother daughter session.

Originally, Kesha and Evelyn’s session was set for two weeks later. But- when I noticed the gorgeous row of red tulips we wanted to be a part of the photos were about to fade, I asked Kesha is she wanted to bump up the date. She said yes.

Little did we know, this seemingly minor change would lead to a truly unforgettable experience.

Fast forward to the day of the shoot – excitement was in the air, and it wasn't just because of Kesha and Evelyn. As we arrived at the Cummins corporate office building, we were greeted by hundreds of teenagers, all dressed to the nines - ready for prom. Talk about timing!

Now, you might think that having a hundred people around would disrupt our session, but honestly, it added an unexpected spark of energy. The rescheduled date, the vibrant tulips, and the prom weekend chaos all came together to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Looking at this shot you never would have known there were at least 30 people around us at that moment.

It never even phased Evelyn this little girl is one of a kind.

On our way to our cars we walked pass this bright yellow wall and I couldn’t help but take a few shots.

In the end, it's a testament to the fact that sometimes the best moments happen when you least expect them. Kesha and Evelyn's mother daughter session will forever be a really fun memory for me. I’m really glad I got to capture their bond - even amidst the lively atmosphere of prom weekend.

Sometimes the most extraordinary moments can be found in the most unexpected places.
