Capturing Magical Moments With Brittany and Hudson | The Lanier Mansion | Columbus, Indiana Autism Mommy and Me Photographer

I recently had a fantastic photo session with Brittany and her adorable son, Hudson, at The Lanier Mansion in Madison, Indiana. Let me tell you, it was quite the adventure!

Now, Hudson is a bundle of energy, a real firecracker of a toddler. So, my top priority was ensuring he had plenty of room to run around safely. And boy, did The Lanier Mansion deliver! With its spacious grounds, Hudson had all the space he needed to let loose and have a blast…and he did, lol. Brittany and I totally got a workout!

Hudson is on the spectrum and is non-verbal, so another reason I chose this location was to make sure the environment wasn't overwhelming for him sensory-wise. So, I made sure there wasn't too much going on around us. It was all about creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere for this little champ.

Now, let me tell you, keeping up with Hudson's energy was no easy task. There was a whole lot of running involved, and I found myself playing a bit of catch-up, trying to capture his magical moments. But let me tell you, it was totally worth it!

The images we managed to capture are nothing short of magical. From Hudson's infectious laughter to his curious exploration of the beautiful surroundings, each shot tells a story of pure joy and wonder. It's moments like these that make being a photographer so incredibly rewarding.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of Brittany and Hudson's journey. It was an absolute pleasure capturing these precious memories for them. And to all the parents out there with energetic little ones, remember, sometimes the best moments happen when you let them run wild and free.
