Rediscovering the Woman Within | Columbus Indiana Boudoir and Glamour Photographer | Madison, Indiana

Hey there! Today, I’m sharing with you the incredible glamor photo shoot I recently did with Tonya, a fabulous mom of two. Tonya came to me feeling like she was starting to lose sight of her own identity outside of being a mom. She longed to reconnect with the woman she is. So, she decided to embark on this empowering journey and treat herself to a glamorous photo session.

Glamour Shoot Photography

We chose to do the photo shoot in downtown Madison, Indiana. To ensure Tonya looked and felt her absolute best, the talented team at Mane Attractions Salon and Spa took care of her hair and makeup. There is something about getting your hair and make up done for a portrait session that elevates the experiences and takes things to the next level. That is why it is included in every session.

We began the session in an alleyway and a charming street just behind the salon and it added an old Italia style to the pictures.

In a surge of spontaneity, I got this wild idea to step into a local antique shop called “Wow! What A Find!” I approached the owner and asked if we could take a few shots inside. To our delight, he said yes. He also suggested we go upstairs to the third floor.

Along the way on the second floor we took a few of these shots in some of the rooms.

Then, on the third floor, we found a hidden gem – a beautiful white couch tucked away in one of the rooms. I couldn't resist such a fun opportunity. It was pure magic! Tonya just radiates pure confidence.

I also love these of Tonya in a chair in front of an antique Chinese Wedding Bed.

Stepping outside, luck was on our side once again. We stumbled upon this incredible blue wall adorned with a heart. It was the perfect place for us to finish our session. I love these images because I can a huge shift from where Tonya was at the beginning of the shoot.

This Empowerment Photo Shoot was more than just a collection of pictures. It was an opportunity for Tonya to rediscover herself, to celebrate her individuality, and an invitation to embrace her own passions and dreams. It was a reminder that we are all multifaceted beings, with layers of beauty waiting to be uncovered.
